Our history
Once upon a time
Vignobles Edonis is a cooperative of winegrowers encompassing all the vineyards along the banks of the river Loire. Between the 1930s and the late 1950s, the vineyards of the Loire Valley worked together as a collective to weather various crises, secure the continuity of the individual establishments and contribute to the planning and development of the territory. Over the years, the projects they initiated have become more structured and innovatory as part of an overarching ambition to achieve wider recognition for Val de Loire wines.
Each successive generation has instituted a major modernisation project to improve production facilities and steer the commercialisation of its wines in France and abroad. In the last 20 years, high-value products and experiences have been the particular target for development. Our guiding principle is to create an impression with our wines, our terroirs and our wine producers. The collective now plans to branch out even further with a range of services offering ‘a rich sensory experience of the Val de Loire’ designed to live up to all your expectations. Vignobles Edonis was created to spearhead this ambition.
